Where data of over 140 million Americans were compromised.<\/p>\n<p>additionally, after few hours Democrat leaders released a counter-report about consumer agency blaming the Republican colleagues for not demanding new <a href=\"https:\/\/seersco.com\/articles\/what-is-cyber-security\/\">cybersecurity laws<\/a> to prevent any subsequent <a href=\"https:\/\/seersco.com\/blogs\/cost-of-the-data-breach\/\">data breach<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The conflict also highlights the difficulty of the consensus in cybersecurity laws.
