Clubhouse users should assume they’re being recorded, a data-privacy expert said, following a breach that sent conversations to another website. A user was remotely sharing login information, pulling audio and metadata from Clubhouse to an external site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TikTok to pay $92 Million to settle class actions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

TikTok has agreed to pay $92 million to settle dozens of lawsuits alleging that the popular video-sharing app harvested personal data from users, including information using facial recognition technology, without consent and shared the data with third parties, some of which were based in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experian could face a \u00a334 Billion damages bill if a legal claim against the company is successful. It is accused of mis-selling people\u2019s data and building potentially inaccurate profiles that can affect their ability to borrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNIL\u2019s revised guidance on cookies must be implemented by 31 March 2021<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) issued revised guidance on cookies and third-party technologies that must be implemented by the 31st of March 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
