We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our fast growing team.
Our fast growing company is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our expanding legal team. Our company boasts a bustling and vibrant team with fantastic employee feedback across the board, as well as a great working environment.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide professional support to the in-house legal team, primarily in relation to EU and UK data privacy laws and regulations plus online data protection and compliance. From time to time, you will also provide general legal advice.
The successful candidate will be involved with researching and advising ongoing data privacy laws including the GDPR as well as providing factual and expert advice. You will undertake research into data privacy issues and assist in case planning and drafting of instructions. Importantly you will monitor online enquiries and dashboards and understand the context and content to enable prioritization. In addition, identify issues that can be actioned and those that need escalating to a Senior Legal Adviser. This role will also see you correspond directly with members, experts and other third parties when necessary.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate investigative and analytical skills, as well as the ability to learn in-house systems quickly and comfortable on all Windows suite software. Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and work autonomously and to tight deadlines
Ideally, you will possess a legal degree, or other relevant qualifications, and have previous experience of operating in a legal or compliance environment
