US administration and European Commission has recently decided to intensify talks on enhancing EU and US privacy shield framework.

The executive Vice President of EU commission Margrethe Vesteger recently expressed reservations about the proposal of Portuguese EU presidency to unblock negotiations on the ePrivacy regulations.
